Red LED blinks when it is low battery or error occurs while charging. It is recommended to connect iAUDIO E2 to USB port on the back of your PC. - RED LED is on while it is charging. My iAUDIO E2 turned off after beeping sound and blinking red LED. It happens when battery is drained. It is recommended to charge it enough with USB cable.
