COWON D3 Firmware Vx.55 (upgradable from x.53 version)
Information
COWON D3 firmware version x.55 is upgrade version of x.53.
If the version of the firmware installed in your device is lower than x.53 version
please install the x.53 version before upgrading to version x.55.
Please check the firmware version of your device on Settings > About D3 > Firmware version.

Warning/Caution
Back up any important data before the firmware upgrade.
Please make sure the AC adapter is connected while upgrading firmware.
Do not turn the player off before the firmware update has been completed.
It may damage the product, and will be void any warranty.
Video Player
Display recent played file when the Video widget starts.
Fixed the error that some video files were unstable while resuming.
Fixed the error of AV Sync problem with Fast Forward or Fast Rewind playback.
Home
Fixed the error that click widget was temporary stopped in Home screen.
App Update
KakaoTalk, JetVD
Stabilized
Fixed the error that device was stopped or reboot while playing contents or using UI.
Fixed other bugs
* Please Click [Safely Remove Hardware] icon in the tray at the lower right corner of your PC
screen to disconnect the device from the PC to transfer contents safely

EU Version (v2.55)

Firmware Version 4.xx
* Please check version of firmware on Settings > About D3 > Firmware version.
Use the USB cable to connect COWON D3 to the PC.
Select Trun on USB storage to copy files between PC and D3.
Copy and paste the firmware file to the root folder of the device.
Click "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the tray at the lower right corner of your computer screen to
disconnect the device from the PC.
Select Turn off USB storage and disconnect D3 from PC.
Connect AC adaptor with your device.
Settings > About D3 > System updates, select the storage where the file is saved to start
firmware upgrade.
Upon finishing firmware upgrade, verify the installed firmware version from Settings > About D3
> Firmware version.
Firmware upgrade can also be conducted through MicroSD cards by copying firmware files to the root
folder of MicroSD and inserting the MicroSD card into COWON D3.
