:: iAUDIO U3 Firmware V1.27
If you have updated the firmware for your player with version 1.12 beta or lower, you must upgrade the firmware V. 1.21 first. And then, please upgrade the firmware V. 1.27. If not, your player will be damaged and need to get serviced. In this case, it is not under warranty. So you have to pay for it. The firmware version can be confirmed via [information] under [settings] menu.

[Warning]
- After selecting the region, iAUDIO U3 supports MTP protocol and JANUS DRM.
- You are only able to upgrade firmware in UMS mode.
- It is normal that the player displays "Font Upgrade" for a while and it disappears.
- iAUDIO U3 does not support text viewer in Music Browser. Please change the mode to File Browser to use text viewer. (Menu -> Settings -> General)
- iAUDIO U3 does not support ID3-tag of OGG file format.

[Installation steps]
1. Download the latest firmware.
2. Unzip the installation file.
3. Connect iAUDIO U3 to a PC by using a USB cable.
4. Run u3_fwup.exe file.

* How to use 'Album art'
1. Please edit the ID3tag of a MP3 or WMA file by selecting [Edit Tag] from the JetAudio option.
(JetAudio should be installed on the PC.)
2. Please turn Album art on under the Display menu.

3. Play the tagged file in iAUDIO U3.
